Description:

Shaded pole asynchronous motor is a single-phase asynchronous motor that generates a rotating magnetic field and starting torque by using a short-circuit winding sheathed on a portion of the magnetic poles.
The electrical shaded-pole asynchronous  induction motor consists of a stat-or and a rotor, which consists of a base, an iron core, and two winding. One is the main winding and the other is the shield pole winding. The rotor includes a shaft, a rotor iron core, and a collector ring; The principle of a shield pole asynchronous motor is that when single-phase AC is applied to the input terminal of the motor, the magnetic field generated by the main winding after being energized interacts with the magnetic field generated by the shield pole winding after being energized, causing the rotor to generate starting torque and the motor to start running. By adjusting the size and frequency of the input current, the motor speed can be controlled.

The main applications of shaded pole asynchronous motors in household appliances are as follows:
(1)Microwave oven: The cover pole motor serves as the prime mover in the microwave oven, driving the turntable and agitator inside the oven.
(2)Ceiling mounted air conditioning: The cover pole motor serves as the prime mover in the ceiling mounted air conditioning, driving the rotation of the fan to achieve the functions of air supply and exhaust.
(3)Sauna: The covered pole motor serves as the prime mover in the sauna, driving the rotation of the air supply fan to evenly deliver steam to various parts of the sauna room.
(4)Air purifier: The cover pole motor serves as the prime mover in the air purifier, driving the rotation of the filter screen to purify the air.
(5)Refrigerator: The cover pole motor serves as the prime mover in the refrigerator, driving the compressor to rotate, thereby achieving the cooling function.
(6)Automatic drying phone: The cover pole motor serves as the prime mover in the automatic drying phone, driving the rotation of the fan to dry the moisture on the hand.
